Patchcord one-mode length 60 meters , cable diameter 3 mm , terminated with SC/APC-SC/APC connectors, is used for networking optical equipment such as switches or converters. Patchcords are also widely used in FTTH networks to connect OLT and ONU/ONT type devices. The presented cables have a material classification LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) , which means that their sheath is made of thermoplastic or thermoset compounds, which do not emit halogen under the influence of high temperatures and emit a limited amount of smoke .
