Network cable most commonly used for the construction of local area networks. Category 6 includes cabling whose bandwidth requirements are up to 250 MHZ (bandwidth of 200 Mbps). It provides for the implementation of Gigabit Ethernet (4x 250MHz =1GHZ) and ATM transmission of 622 Mbps . It is built with 4 pairs of cables twisted together to eliminate electromagnetic and mutual interference. The cables are made of pure copper with a thickness of 23 AWG and are surrounded by a PE sheath with a diameter of 1.08 mm. The outer PE sheath is 0.60mm thick.
Key featuresThe PE polyethylene sheath has high mechanical strength , high chemical resistance and barrier to gases which allows the cable to be used outdoors. Packaging equipped with a self-unrolling reel allows the cable to be conveniently unrolled without becoming dangerously tangled
Extralink twisted pair cable for outdoor useExtralink CAT6 FTP (F/UTP) V2 cable is designed for outdoor use and has high weather resistance . The twisted-pair cable is also often used in closed-circuit television installations , where one cable can transmit video signals from several cameras and power.
